The XGT is a new 40V | 80V system with its own series of tools, batteries and chargers. The new design together with the improved high-efficiency batteries offer an optimal solution for challenges in construction, industry as well as gardening and many other areas. Makita’s battery platform for XGT is specifically designed to cope with high-intensity work. The XGT batteries deliver up to 40V which is twice as much as the LXT batteries at 18V. The XGT has both the same shape and size as the 18V LXT batteries but is nevertheless a completely new battery series.

CXT- Compact eXtreme Technology 12V Max offers users a compact solution with more comfort and higher capacity. The slide mount on the lithium-ion batteries provides the user with good ergonomics and comfort. The result of this will be an additional convenience for users. The 12V Max CXT tools are equipped with carbon brushless motors that provide long operating time, high performance and fast speed, as well as longer tool length. The 12V Max CXT platform is compatible with 4.0 Ah battery. With an efficient 4.0 Ah battery, you can extend the operating time one step further.
